Bespoke garden structures from Oeco Garden Rooms

Oeco Garden Rooms is a family run business who have been manufacturing and installing timber framed structures for over 10 years. We specialise in building bespoke garden rooms, offices and studios for those who want to extend their living space for a multitude of uses.

All of our garden structures include:

Concrete Pile and Steel Foundations

Due to our specially designed concrete pile and steel foundations, there is no need to provide a concrete base for our garden structures. This not only saves you time and money on ground work, but also means that we can install our garden rooms onto flat or slightly uneven surfaces.

Our concrete pile foundations, coupled with heavy duty galvanised steel legs and plates allows us to adjust the base to get it perfectly level and provides a vented space underneath, ensuring that the structure is not affected by rising damp.

Traditional Timber Framed Construction

All of our garden structures are constructed using traditional timber framed walls and floor, making them strong, sturdy and able to carry the load of the building. Our structural graded timbers are impregnated with Tanelith E wood preservative and are sourced from well-managed, sustainable forests.

All our timber walls are covered in a waterproof breathing membrane, allowing moisture to escape the building, but preventing moisture from entering.

The garden rooms also feature double vented timber walls which allows air to circulate, enabling the structure to breathe.

Insulated To Building Regulations

All our garden structures are built to the highest quality standards. Our roofs are constructed using a highly insulated trapezoidal roof panel system, which features thick PIR rigid thermal insulation to keep the structure cool in the summer and warm in the winter.

The walls also contain a combination of Knauf and Kingspan insulation, making the structure thermally efficient meaning that they are suitable for use all year round and not just during the summer months.

PVC-U Door & Windows

PVC-U doors and windows provide an elegant solution to your outside space and are available in a range of different configurations including single and double patio doors, sliding doors, and tall or wide windows.

The dark grey (anthracite) PVC-U profiles complement the western cedar cladding perfectly and come fitted with insurance approved locks are standard for security and peace of mind.

Western Red Cedar External Timber Cladding

Our preferred choice for the exterior cladding to our garden structures is Western Red Cedar because of its rich and varied browns, reds and pinks which make each garden room unique.

Western Red Cedar is a high quality timber and also has a high resistance to decay, contains natural preservatives and is durable under all weather conditions. This timber is guaranteed to give a long and trouble free service and has a life expectancy of 40-50 years.

Luxury Plastered Interior

Inside our garden structures you will find traditional plaster boarded and skimmed walls and ceilings. This professional finish not only provides a seamless finish, it also helps with sound insulation and improves energy efficiency.

Bespoke Construction Service

Our bespoke garden room service allows you to decide on site (i.e. during the construction phase) where you want the windows and doors positioned for best access and light, where lights, switches and sockets are placed for ease of use, and allows our installers to run any additional wiring such as internet, telephone or alarm cables inside the timber walls.

All our prices include the delivery and installation by one of our fully trained professional construction teams, and are typically completed within 5 working days with the minimum amount of disruption.
