Welsh Oak Frame has welcomed the latest developments in the push towards getting the Self-build and Custom Housebuilding Bill passed in parliament following the committee meeting held in the House of Commons on 17th December. The Private Member’s Bill has cross-party support and was approved in principal by the House of Commons in October.
Welsh Oak Frame’s General Manager Mark Jones commented: “People want the opportunity to build beautiful, unique homes and we believe that the government should be supporting and nurturing self-builders and, although this Bill won’t be a quick fix, it is certainly a step in the right direction.”
